What are Noor candles made of?

Noor candles are made of a refined soy wax blend, chosen after an extensive testing process. We chose this blend for its clean, even burn, beautiful natural glow and longer burning time - so you can enjoy your candle slowly, beautifully, and without comprise.

Are Noor candles handmade?

Yes. Every Noor candle is handmade (with love) in small batches in Ghent, Belgium. This hands-on approach allows Noor to focus on precision, quality and the small details that make each candle feel special.

Why doesn't my candle look perfectly 'perfect'?

We're actually happy you noticed. Subtle variations - like slight texture changes or tiny marks - are a natural result of our hand-pouring process. Each candle is made by hand, not by machine, which means no two pieces are ever exactly the same. We see these details as quiet proof of craftmanship.

Are Noor candles vegan and cruelty free?

Yes. Our carefully tested wax blend is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainably sourced, and we use candle dyes that contain no animal-derived ingredients and meet EU safety standards.

Candle care

How do I burn my candle properly?

For the best experience, allow your candle to burn long enough on the first use for the wax to melt evenly across the surface. Always place it on a heat-resistant surface and enjoy it in a calm, draft-free space.

Why should I trim the wick?

Trimming the wick to about 5 mm before each burn helps create a clean, steady flame. It reduces smoke, prevents soot, and keeps your candle burning beautifully.

What is tunneling and how do I prevent it?

Tunneling happens when a candle isn’t burned long enough and wax remains around the edges. To prevent this, let the candle burn until the full surface has melted, especially during the first burn.

Why is my candle smoking?

A candle may smoke if the wick is too long or if it’s exposed to a draft. Simply extinguish the flame, trim the wick, and relight once the wax has cooled.

Where does Noor ship to?

Noor currently ships to Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany. If you're unsure whether we deliver to your location, feel free to reach out - we're always happy to help.

When will my order arrive?

Noor orders are usually processed within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Once shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery typically takes 1 to 3 business days, but times can vary depending on your location.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes - we offer free shipping on orders over €30 in Belgium and €50 across Europe, automatically applied at checkout. From time to time, we also treat Noor customers to special free-shipping moments. Be the first to know? Subscribe to our newsletter!

How can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you'll also receive a confirmation email with your tracking link - so you can follow your delivery every step of the way, with ease.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible at customerservice@noorplace.com - we'll do our best to help before your order is processed or shipped.

Can I return a Noor candle?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason it’s not quite right, you can return your candle within 14 days, provided it is unused and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

How do I request a refund or replacement?

Simply get in touch with us at customerservice@noorplace.com with your order number and a brief explanation. We’ll guide you through the next steps and make the process as smooth as possible.

What if my candle arrives damaged?

If your candle arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos (and preferably video). We’ll take care of it and arrange a replacement or refund for you.
